Sandy

Sandy was really bad it did a lot of harm to different places. Luckily where I live everything was good, In fact the next day of the hurricane people were walking in the street like nothing happened like a normal day. the only bad thing that happened to me was that I lost internet for a week :(. Two days before Sandy hit I bought food and water and went home early, so I was prepared. The day Sandy hit in the TV were showing places flooded and a crane in a top of a building that was going to fall. I looked outside the window and everything was fine. A little bit of rain and winds, and nothing was flooded. It was strange seeing bad things in the TV and looking outside the window and seeing just a normal rain. I guest I was just lucky.

your experience tells us we should choose the place we live gingerly.
my place was fine also, i even didn't lose my internet, so that was a normal week for me.

  2. Hi Giorgio,

I'm glad to hear that you were safe during the hurricane. I had a similar experience. My neighborhood was fine, and the stores and restaurants were open by Wednesday, but on the news, everything looked completely different. I am curious, where do you live?

  3. Hi Girogio,
I think you are lucky, too. It's really intereted in where we should have lived in. But we have a rare expiriences about Harricane in NYC. NYU didn't have classes after Sandy almost a week, and we didn't have a heat system it might be two weeks. I guess did you cahtch a cold?

  4. HI Giorgio,
I'm happy to hear that you were safe during the hurricane. Wow, you were ready to the hurricane very well. Have you ever experienced the hurricane like this? In my case, it was my first time to experience hurricanes, but my place was so safe, so I didn't feel anything. It was just a common day.
